Use this sheet to search items from the translation memory. Once found you can edit or remove the items. You can also add new items into the translation memory.
Select the language pair where strings are searched from. This specifies the source and target languages. Choose All languages if you want to search from all strings.
Specifies where the strings are searched. By default the strings are searched from original strings. If you want to search from translated strings set this to Translated strings. If you want to seach from both original and translated strings set this to Both strings.
Enter the string you want to search and click Search to start searching. If you leave this string to empty all strings matching the selected language pair are shown.
Check Exact match check box if you want to use an exact match when finding strings. In this case the translation memory must contain exactly the same string as you typed in order to find it. If unchecked a partial match is used. In this case all strings that contain the typed string as a part of a string will be shown in the result list.
Once you have clicked Search button this list gets populated by result translations. Now you can start editing. To edit a translation select it and click Edit or double click it. To remove a translation select it and click Remove. To remove all translations in the list click Remove all. To add a new translations click Add. The list contains maximun 100 strings. If the search result contains more translations only the first 100 translations are shown.
You can sort result list by any column. There are three sort order: none, ascending and descending. When the sort order is none the items are show on the original order. When the sort order is ascending the items are show on the ascending order of the clicked column. When the sort order is descending the items are show on the descending order of the clicked column. You can change the sort order and sort column by clicking the colum header. If click another time the next sort order is taken place and so on.
Note! All the edits you make are immediately updated to the translation memory. You can not undo them.
