Use this sheet to control how fonts are localized. Read first more about font localization.

Original script and default font

Shows the original script and specifies the default original font. You can change the original script by changing the original language in the Encodings sheet. Click Change to change the default original font.

Update Charset-property when creating localized items

VCL: If checked Sisulizer updates the Charset property values of TFont to match the target language. Property is only updated if the original value is set to DEFAULT_CHARSET. This is the default value of the Charset property.

Change fonts

Specifies how Sisulizer localizes fonts. The font localization goes like this: If the user has given a translated value fot the font in the project grid Sisulizer uses that font. Otherwise Sisulizer replaces the font using the font replacement rule. This combo box specifies what is the font replacement rule:

Value Description
Never Font replacement is disabled. Only those fonts that have been translated in the project grid will be changed.
When the original [script] font name is [name] and size is [size] Change an untranslated font if and only if the font name and size match to the default original font.
When the original [script] font name is [name] Change an untranslated font name if the font name matches to the default original font name.
If the font size is less than the font size specified in Fonts to be used list change also the font size.
Every time Change all untranslated font names.
If the font size is less than the font size specified in Fonts to be used list change also the font size.

Fonts to be used

Contains a list of default fonts. The contains the name and size of the default font for each script that the project uses. Some languages uses the same script. For example English and Finnish both use the Western script. To edit a font double click a font line or select a font line and click Edit.

Each script has its own default font. This depends on the platform (e.g. Windows vs. .NET). For example Japanese uses Japanese script and the default font of Japanese script for Windows application is MS UI Gothic 9.
