OldNewExplorer is a utility that allows you to return the familiar Explorer from Windows 7 to Windows 8, 10 and possibly future versions of the operating system from Microsoft. When you return, you move your key arrangement to the old directory tree structure in the toolbar. It is literally a click away to return to the original shell. Just start OldNewExplorer and click on the "Install" button. If you would like to modify some parameters, you have the option to do so. Besides providing options for grouping images, adjusting library displays, switch to the standard command line instead of the Ribbon panel, and changing the style of Windows you choose, the program allows you to define the default. The "Unistall" key will allow you to undo the changes rapidly if you are not satisfied with the results of the program. Administrator rights are required for the processes of installation and uninstallation.

Although the tool itself leaves no trace, OldNewExplorer does work in a portable version. As of now, Windows 10 is being tested on the program developer's server.
