NETGEAR Genie is a set of tools to work with the network, diagnose Internet connection, set access parameters, eliminate various problems and so on. There are a few convenient features of the utility interface: : Whenever a tool switch is made, tabs on the left side of the window provide options, while on the middle screen, the tools themselves serve as icons. Configure your wireless and wired Internet service provider, configure your router, build a network connection card, customize parental control and use ReadySHARE from your computer's control panel through the program. You can also monitor the incoming/outgoing traffic size, access speed and waiting time.
For Apple device owners, there is an option to combine the printer with AirPrint technology, which allows wireless printing without installing drivers. Before using NETGEAR Genie, make sure you have a router in the list of compatible ones. Neither the router nor its diagnostics are currently listed.
