MediaTab is a great tiny program that will tell you full details about any sort of multimedia file you may have on your computer. Launch it just by following the right steps- You can make a real difference.click on the file and then click on the MediaTab button. The program will start once you click this and tell you as much information about the file as you need to know about it.
A few items are displayed in MediaTab like codec and bit rate information. Several of this information makes it very convenient to locate the quality of the file, especially if there are two versions of the same file. If two versions of the same files exist, it might be possible to use this tool in order to determine which one is best for saving.
If you're having trouble playing a file that you downloaded MediaTab will be able to confirm that it is, in fact, a media file and will be able to tell you which codec was used to compress the file. Once you have that information you can simply install the proper codec that you were missing and be able to view that file.
If you're a content creator MediaTab will allow you to test the output quality of what you've created. There is no need to worry if your high-quality content is not there. After checking all aspects of your codec, it will also determine that the output worked properly.
