LAN Speed Test is an application designed to measure the data transfer rate in a local network (both wired and wireless). LAN Speed Test works as follows: An application creates a test file and transmits it according to the data transfer rate (write and read), so test files can be up to 9 gigabytes in size while the application is very small; it can run on external media, unlike other programs; however, there are no mandatory installations. Data exchange rate measurements involve a progress bar display as well as a button to turn them off. Because of its high speed, it is characterized by its fast-paced operations. An average measurement takes about one minute. An LST server is compatible with LAN Speed Test, you can see the connected computers' devices listed, and it is capable of pinging those computers. Besides showing the list of connected devices, it allows you to run scheduled tests, and complete log files. Multithreading capability can be found in the LAN Speed Test.
- Data transmission speed in the local network can be measured by measuring what it is using;
- LST server support.
