Ham Radio Deluxe is an indispensable helper for radio amateurs. The program assumes the functions of "logging" and transceiver control. The Ham Radio Deluxe graphic shell consists of five "standalone" modules: Logging, rig control, Rotor control, digital mode, digital detection by satellite (SAT) and navigation control (NOT and NOT on). It is important for the receiver to be connected beforehand to the COM port where it can be used. It can be difficult to determine its connection from time to time. Microsoft Windows has been around for a long time and older versions contain them more than others. It is possible that you will require more utilities to debug and diagnose COM ports in these situations.
Several radio models from Ten Tec, Elecraft, Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood, and more have been pre-programmed into Ham Radio Deluxe. It is able to connect to more than ten transceivers at the same time, and saves its logs for all of the connections. Separate files can be created for log files.
Amateurs were formerly able to play Ham Radio Deluxe for free via an "amateur for amateurs". Program was originally developed for internal use, but it has grown into a commercial project and can now be paid for now. During the trial period, however, users are given the option of purchasing a license, although with a very short amount of time.
