Fan Xpert is a program for ASUS motherboards, which allows you to control the speed of the CPU and CPU coolers do not go into the BIOS. Depending on the speed at which you use it, you can ensure that the system components stay at their normal temperatures and balance both cooling efficiency and emission. Only experienced users are recommended to use this program, since activating the overheating protection function will force the computer shut down if one of the system components experiences an abnormal rise in temperature.
Using a graph, you are able to specify the percentage of the cooler speed the rotation rate depends upon the CPU temperature by using the difference between it and an earlier one. Specifically set this to reduce noise because the cooler resets itself when CPU temperatures are reduced enough. If the processor uses the speed excessively, a more fast version of the cooler is used to lower it again, producing better cooling (but there will still be noise).
Fan Xpert allows you to create custom profiles for speed versus processor temperature settings and even offers a number of ready-made settings. You will still fail if you try to install the program on motherboards other than ASUS. As soon as the installation has completed, a message will appear indicating Fan Xpert incompatibility. Also, program connected coolers should support PWM (Power Widening Motor).
- You can adjust the speeds of coolers without directly accessing the BIOS.
- It won't work with ASUS motherboards; only on their models.
- On this page areConfigurable graphs indicating the warmer temperature on the server per CPU temperature: (x)
- Creating your own settings profiles is possible;
- is completely free.
