Today, CMOS passwords are not so common. According to a current survey, it is probably your CMOS password that is one of your security practices, as long as you feel computing is important. Should you forget your CMOS password, Sisulizer's CMOSPWD application will be able to help you rest the CMOS password. I have also used the CMOS password utility after purchasing a used computer. Despite owning a CMOS password, the original owner did not tell his sales partners.
