Those who love working in C and C based languages should certainly try Atmel Studio. The purpose of debugbing an microcontroller with these products is obvious as one who previously worked in C++ can attest. I have only one complaint regarding C-support: it appears there is no support.Sharp.

A AVR SAM and a Microprocessor running atmel Studio support debug programs.controlled applications. It is a newly invented tool but one that is not user friendly. Someone who is familiar with debugging techniques and third parties should consider taking this course.

Download Atmel Studio for Windows for free, and see what I find.  In order to write, build, and debug my code, I need an IDP to learn C++.  As a student, I am on a limited budget, but this software was free.  On my Windows machine, I installed it. My first project was built in the software that is part of my entire development process. I can only do everything on one installation.  The feature is ideal for programming students and developers as well.
