Microsoft Translator
May/27/2009:
You asked for more free machine translation. Here comes Microsoft Translator. Sisulizer Enterprise comes now with a fully integrated interface to Microsoft Translator. This free machine translation service allows automatic translation between 12 languages. Not as impressive as Google Translate's language list but Microsoft's Translator has some advantages in handling of e.g. html tags.
The results of Microsoft Translator are similar to Google Translate (some say it is even a little bit better in some languages) and can be used for pre-translation or pseudo-translation jobs.
Please keep in mind: Microsoft Translator's machine translation can not replace the quality work of a human native speaker. Read more about machine translation on Wikipedia.
The interface to Microsoft Translate is included in a free upgrade for all our 2008 Enterprise customers. Thank you all for the suggestions helping us to create the best localization experience for you. [Download now]

Qt Support
Dec/23/2008:
Sisulizer visually localizes Qt applications. Sisulizer localizes Qt string resources (.ts files) since long. The latest Sisulizer build introduces visual localization to Qt's UI resources (.ui files).

Qt is a cross platform library and development IDE that makes it possible to write code for Windows, Mac, Linux and several mobile platforms include Window Mobile and Symbian S60. Nokia bought Trolltech, the makers of Qt, a half year ago and changed its name to Qt Software. The Sisulizer team expects that Qt will be the major platform in Nokia's new phones.
As a Sisulizer customer you can download the latest build of Sisulizer for free and be ready for 2009's cross platform world of Qt.

Delphi + C++ Builder
Nov/25/2008:
Read how to localize Delphi and C++Builder applications. A new document written by our CTO Jaakko Salmenius shows you the fastest way to Delphi and C++Builder localization. Learn how to prepare VCL-applications, eliminate hard-coded strings, use frames and inherited forms, and make the switch to Delphi 2009 including UNICODE.
The document also shows the needed steps inside of Sisulizer. It is a must read if you are just starting to localize - with or without Sisulizer - because it helps you to avoid pitfalls and speeds-up your localization experience. And if you are already a Sisulizer customer it gives you additional information about component mapping, usage of source code comments, resource DLLs and the runtime language switch.
