By running translation validation checking successfully makes sure that the translation job is correct. This is why you should always run validation checks for your translations before creating localized files or sending translated project back to author. Choose Validation | Validate Translation to start translation validation and to see the possible validations that can be applied for translations.

This is why you should always run validation checks for your original items before starting the translations job. Sooner you fix the bugs better it is.
