Ini file Localization
Localizing your INI files with Sisulizer is easy and save.
- You define the sections and keys to localize
Advantage: No sections or keys disappear, or
are duplicated or renamed during translation process.
- Translator cannot break INI-file format
Only the strings you need localized can be translated. Sections,
keys, and equal signs cannot be edited.
- Ini-like files can be localized, too
Besides true Windows .ini-files which can be edited with the
IniRead and write API calls Sisulizer works with initialization
files that are structured similar to ini files.
Screen

Ini files don't need to have the .ini as
file extension to be localizable with Sisulizer. The project tree shows
the sections of an ini file, the Wysiwyg pane shows the keys to be localized.
Sisulizer protects translator for breaking your ini file format; neither
the section names nor the keys are editable, just the strings can be
translated.

- Duplicate strings are translated once
Within a project translations of identical original strings
are automatically reused. Even if the other
strings are in other file types, e.g. your application or online
help if they are in the same project.
- Remember translations project-independent
Sisulizer supports translation memory*. Please cross-check our
feature comparision
to pick a Sisulizer edition with translation memory support.

You define which sections of your Ini files
are localizable. Only the selected ones a translator can enter a translation.
This ensures that your budget does not run out. By using Sisulizer you
are sure that no keys or sections disappear or duplicate during translation
process.
Besides classical Windows .ini files Sisulizer also supports localization
of ini-like files. For easier configuration you can save your set of
definitions for later re-use e.g. in other Sisulizer projects by exporting
them.
